The Toyota Mark II is an extremely popular series. Amongst the previous generation of the Mark II’s Tourer, line this potential for a great drive was most marked in the Tourer V and the Tourer S.
The Tourer V is a very ordinary 4-door roadster sedan fitted with a 2.5-liter inline 6-cylinder twin-turbo engine that provides 276hp. The Tourer S comes with a 2.5-liter inline 6-cylinder DOHC NA engine that gives 177hp.
The Tourer V’s engine is a typical turbo engine, but exploding with power in the higher ranges to provide teeth-rattling acceleration. However, such a ferocious car needs an equally adept driver to handle it. The Tourer S gives an honest ride with rear-wheel drive balancing the comfort of normal aspiration with reasonable power.
