After a full model change in January 1992, the Nissan March still enjoyed undiminished popularity. A hit in Europe as well as Japan, the Nissan March is the only Japanese car to be named European Car of the Year. The M13 is a tuner car from Tommykaira based on the March.
Like any Tommykaira creation, this car has a flashy, sporty look. The front fascia, with its wide intake, combines with a classic chrome-plated bumper to give the car a charming but somehow mischievous personality. The center strip adds a unique touch.
The interior features a speedometer with a maximum speed of 220 km/h (140 mph) and a customized steering wheel and shift knob. The Tommykaira M13 is available in two stages of tune regardless of the power unit and transmission combination: Stage 1 and Stage 2.
The latter is based on a 1.3-liler DOHC inline 4-cylinder engine and boosts the standard model’s power from 76 hp to 89hp. Adjustable shock absorbers with four damping power settings, stiffer springs and stabilizer bars, and larger tires (Dunlop W-1 185/55R14) help provide stimulating handling.
